Matthew Gavel Earns CFA®

Great perseverance can often lead to great reward – and great celebration!

Matthew Gavel, a Portfolio Manager with Domani Wealth, has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

The process generally takes more than four years, and less than one in five candidates who enroll in the Chartered Financial Analyst® program pass all three exams and meet the professional and ethical requirements to earn the credential. Matt completed 4,000 hours of work experience that was directly involved with investment decisions – part of how he helps lead our Investment Strategy Group. He had to prove his knowledge in advanced investment, analysis and real-world portfolio manager skills.

It’s a monumental effort, and we have seen Matt work incredibly hard in his dedication to our clients and their needs, his mentoring and guidance for our investment group, and his commitment to learning more and developing as a professional. In his day-to-day work, he specializes in investment due diligence and portfolio management, including the creation, implementation, and trading of sophisticated portfolio strategies.

The CFA charter, awarded by the CFA Institute, is recognized globally by investors as the definitive standard by which to measure the competence, integrity and dedication of serious investment professionals.

Matt is living up to our mission of promoting financial security through knowledge, integrity, and understanding, and we’re so proud of the example he sets on our team!
