Working closely with others.

For Scott Michael, working closely with other professionals and with clients is the driving force of enjoying his responsibilities at Domani Wealth.

“Any day spent meeting and interacting with clients and prospects is a good day,” he says.

In his time with clients, Scott uses his technical expertise to create customized financial plans, each one different and unique to match the client’s personal goals. He collaborates with Domani Wealth’s Investment Strategy Group during this process, making sure portfolios are in sync with client objectives.

In the time he’s been with the firm – since its inception! – he’s been most excited about developing our amazing team members, he says.

Scott got into the business because of a desire to work with people to help solve financial challenges and reach the goals to which they aspire.

He does that not only through individual financial plans, but also as a member of Domani Wealth’s Business Retirement Plan group. Scott provides his technical expertise to companies on the design, implementation, and administration of retirement plans they offer to employees. He ensures the plans meet the goals of the employer as well as maintain fiduciary standing, offering benefits in the best interest of plan participants and the employer.

Scott is one of Domani Wealth’s most tenured and experienced advisors. Throughout his career, he has helped many clients through the different events and stages of life. Clients know him to be calm and insightful, offering solid and practical solutions to navigate complex matters.

While Scott works with clients from all backgrounds, he has real talent in assisting clients transition from their professional careers to their retirement years. He understands the major steps involved both financially and personally, and his caring nature creates a comfortable atmosphere for clients to navigate.

Sometimes, things that happen in life can be unsettling. Scott’s transparency and caring nature has often been shared by clients to be something they deeply appreciate. Scott’s goal is to stay focused on the future and tranquil in the present moment. His tremendous listening skills truly help him understand what clients think, want, and most importantly, what they need to be successful.

The core value that most resonates with Scott is integrity, “clients put so much trust in our work,” he says.

Scott also serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for the firm and a member of Domani Wealth’s executive management team, reviewing content and plans to ensure fiduciary and legal compliance.

Scott is an outdoorsman, enjoying biking, hunting, shooting, and landscaping work. He can often be found listening to country music with his German short-haired pointer, Molly, and he won’t ever turn down a whoopie pie.
