Domani Wealth recently promoted Richard Ellenberger, who has been with the firm since 2013, to Wealth Advisor.
He has also recently completed earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation.
After serving in the United States Marine Corps and completing his studies at Penn State, he has been a committed member of Domani’s team, showing continual dedication to our clients. He works with clients on financial plan recommendations, managing investment portfolio intricacies and is an active part of the financial processes of our firm. His primary responsibility as a wealth advisor will be to work with clients to onboard, create financial plans, adjust plans throughout their relationship and continue to increase efficiencies, and help create a future-focused wealth management company.
He is known for his tenacity, how hard he works, and the knowledge he shares with clients. Coworkers appreciate him for his team spirit and commitment.
To earn his CFP® certification, the standard of excellence in financial planning, he met rigorous training, education, and ethical standards. Those who achieve this designation are also committed to serving in their client’s best interest as a fiduciary. Individuals who gain this certification are educated within investment, tax, retirement, estate, insurance, financial, and education planning. The six-hour exam measures critical thinking and problem solving, testing the ability to apply financial planning in an integrated approach to real-life situations. Ellenberger also had to complete thousands of hours of professional career experience related to the financial planning process to earn his CFP®.
Richard is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and has a bachelor’s degree in business from The Pennsylvania State University. He is involved in the Rotary Club of Hanover and is a past board member, as well as a member of the Hanover Young Professionals and a board member and investment committee member of the York County Parks Foundation.
