We’re proud to announce that Amanda Faith, a Senior Client Service Associate who has been with Domani Wealth for 9 years, has earned her Certified Estate and Trust Specialist for Financial Advisors TM designation!
Shortened to CES TM, the qualification provides education and professional training on estate planning, family wealth transitions, and specialized trusts. Those who have earned a CES TM designation are committed to working on behalf of the well-being of clients, their families, and their businesses. This aligns with Domani Wealth’s standard of acting as a fiduciary for our clients, which means we always make recommendations in the best interest of the client.
To complete the program, Amanda had to pass a series of exams as well as write a thorough case study. The training includes advanced knowledge on several aspects of estate planning, taxation, and how to manage wealth in the best interest of the family after the death of a loved one.
Amanda had to study the following complexities:
- Advantages and disadvantages of wills and trusts
- Asset titling options
- Liquidity planning techniques
- Safeguarding asset practices
- Special trusts to help retain principal funds
- Powers of attorney details
- Health care directives
- Gifting pros and cons
- Conservation of assets
- Transitions between generations
- Probate process
- Estate settlement
The CES TM designation is conferred by the Institute of Business and Finance, in existence since 1988 and providing financial services education. The institute’s purpose states the more educated the advisor, the stronger a resource they can be for their clients.
More than a million professionals provide estate planning advice throughout the U.S. Less than one percent of them have earned the Certified Estate and Trust Specialist for Financial Advisors TM designation. We’re proud of Amanda’s dedication and experience on our team at Domani Wealth!
